Shiva neriye – Nagaswaravali – Geetam

Shri Chitravina N Ravikiran teaches the Nagaswaravali Geetam, ‘Shivaneriye’ set to Roopaka talam. This is a tribute to Tirunavukkarashar, one of the 63 nayanmars, who composed numerous pieces in praise of Lord Shiva. Shri Ravikiran gives a brief outline of the raga before proceeding to teach the song in both swara-based and lyrics-based formats.
