Dr Sriram Parasuram is an accomplished vocalist, instrumentalist and teacher of Indian classical music. He is well versed in both the Hindustani and Carnatic styles of music. He is renowned not only for his concert performances, but also his lecture-demonstrations which are equally compelling and a veritable crowd puller. An engineering graduate with a business degree from IIM, Dr Sriram moved to performing arts and subsequently obtained a doctorate degree in World Music from Wesleyan University.
