About Mysore Vasudevachar

Mysore Vasudevachar (1865-1961) belonged to the direct line of Thyagaraja’s disciples and composed over 200 songs mainly in Sanskrit and Telugu.In addition to kritis, he also composed Varnams, Thillanas, Javalis and Slokas. He was a recipent of the Padma Bhushan award which is the third-highest civilian award in India.To know more, click here.
